HAPPYRON AT THE CAVERN IN LIVERPOOL: HappyRon returns (for the first time!) to the place where happiness started for him. Somehow 4 young people created at this location and others a spark of community and happiness that spread to the world even after their breakup and reached into my heart in 1980, pushed me on the stage in 1997, and has never left. My silly sing-along songs are the direct result of the spark they created even to the extent that my 2nd biggest influence is Ringo's early 1970s fun music. So great to come full circle and if I create 1/1,000,000th the happiness they created I will have lived a life worthwhile.

He is most well known for fun sing along songs like "Terribly Happy" and "If You're Bored In San Diego (IT'S YOUR FAULT) as well as songs in many other styles. He has been described as a cross between "punk rock and punk folk".
His music is influenced by, among others, Ringo Starr, Mr. Rogers, South Park, and Leonard Cohen.
