Konami should make complete and total remakes of Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2. They should be called Metal Gear Solid: Outer Heaven and Metal Gear Solid: Zanzibar. This would allow for Solid Snake to remain the protagonist in 2 brand new MGS games. Have them only bare a passing resemblance to the original MSX games so they can be completely fresh for long time fans.

The Boss is also Ocelots mother so they have aligned her appearance to be closer to his throughout the years. If you look at older Ocelot from MGS2/4 then she has his narrow face and complexion.

Remake MG 1&2! But would also like a MGS4 remake since it’s stuck on PS3. But can imagine mgs1,2,4 being called Alpha, beta, gamma in that order. That’d be pretty cool. 🤔

I must say that with the first demo trailers I felt this could flop. The idea of MGS3 remade with modern graphics and TPP’s gameplay has always been a great idea but it could always go wrong. After this last trailer and today’s video featuring Hayter, I must say I don’t have any doubts this remake will be a banger. So far it looks like something straight out of my dreams. I literally shed a tear of joy in disbelief when I saw both the trailer and the video. Metal Gear is back.

They should remake the OG metal gear games. It would be cool to see it in 3D.

The original game did have it so you'd get permanent bullets and arrows in Snake's body if you didn't remove them before they healed. Made for some pretty funny scenes if snake had an arrow stuck in his head or arse!

There's a fascinating experiment going on here. Metal gear 3 remake , sticking to the source ( maybe a little too much). And Silent hill 2 remake straying from the source ( maybe a little too much). Let Konmai know which you prefer .. with your wallet.

OMG, so freaking excited for this, it looks freaking spectacular, and I think it’s cool that even though David Hayter isn’t re-doing the voice overs, he’s still been very prevalent in the advertisement process, by promoting this game and doing videos on this, etc.. it’s amazing!

I would love MGS 1&2 remade as well but i feel those games would be way more complicated due to the top down camera perspective, if they change that it would completely change how those games function and feel and not necessarily for the better.... As for new entries without Kojima, that i'm completely skeptical about it.

im in a pretty bad condition (in general, not just since yesterday) so i hope i'll stay alive until all of them are redone... MGS2, MGS4, MGS1, or even MG/MG2. Would suck to wait a decade and leave shortly before it releases.

I hope they remake metal gear and metal gear 2 solid snake with the latest engine & depicts the events that lead a young rookie solid snake to defeat venom snake in Zanzibarland. Imagine solid snake, someone known for sneaking in concrete infrastructures finding his roots in a Central Asian wilderness environment not unlike naked snakes virtuous mission. Epic
