Looking forward to your vids about 20 rules of knowledge formulation. Thanks Mr. Flashcard Guy!

I remember you posting in the studentdoctor forum over 11 years ago, responding to a med school graduate who credited SM for helping him achieve board scores that were 3 standard deviations above the mean. And to learn you've never missed a repetition day since that post. Unbelievable! Have you noticed any outlier benefits of long-term SM practice? I've only recently incorporated SM into my life. It's such a delight to have stumbled on your channel.

Great analogy with prior knowledge with movie series. I think little previous knowledg makes Supermemo more daunting. I had an advantage as a new user. First, I was not new to SRS, pretty familiar with formulation of knowledge. Secondly, I read a lot about SuperMemo before trying it out.

Thanks for making this video! It was straight to the point and helpful. Off to make some items!

I was mildly surprised when you described Supermemo as "a flashcard app" in the first video. I indeed describe it close to the opposite. Fore me it is not just a flashcard app.

Around how many flash cards are you currently at, and how well did you end up learning the Japanese language?
  • Hey dear sir ,may I ask whether you can offer some paid tutoring for SM learning pls?
