Escape from the Lava #4 - Survival Bicycle Race

Being a RED fan I gave up from the start thinking it was over but seeing that he made it so far and only fully died 20 seconds from the rescuer makes me fully respect his determination.

Red was just destroying the system for a moment there 😂

Love how the lava isn't just a wall, it's an actual flow of particles that each individually burn the bikes and acts like a genuine flowing liquid, you can even see dark particles and bright ones for different colored patches! 2:03 There's something so satisfyingly brutal about how the lava douses Lavender and completely scorches them. Also Red went flying- 6:35 I love how Orange's bike goes mostly untouched the whole time, but right here the lava hits Orange itself and sucks them right off the bike, leaving the empty bike to continue on without them for a bit. 7:47 Lime got a little burnt, but the boost let them get to the rescue pod!

I find it cool how the back wheel of Red's bike temporarily gave Red a slight advantage. It continuously jumped, which looked cool.

The execution on this one was PERFECT! The burning, the movement of the lava, the steam and smoke effects and the final rescue were all incredibly well made! I'd say that this one is among my favorites!

While none of my picks made it, I do wanna give a shoutout to the madlads that are Pink and Gray for getting their heads burned off yet continuing to pedal anyways! Also Salmon's death was possibly the most brutal, getting knocked off their bike and reaching out with an arm as the lava consumed them.

Are we not gonna talk about how orange get consumed by the lava and his bike comes out almost unharmed at 6:41

I was rooting for red so much! His life story was so moving, even with the difficulties he was still there firm and strong, pedaling to the outside of his bicycle, we will never forge this grand hero, a moment of silence for him!

Pink is a huge inspiration. She kept going even without her head.

Red is usually my #2, but with that effort of never giving up? That is heroic

An idea for those bike survivals, once the back tire takes enough damage, have the cyclist ditch the bike and start running.
