Altima 3.5 vs 350z

The passenger filming is actually the friend of the guy in the 350z. They wanted to film the race. So I had a passenger and the 350z didn't.

nice, i own a 05 3.5 se altima, what mods you got on yours, like what brands im looking for mods for mine but thers so many to choose from.. what do u suggest

are u using gear selections 1 and 2 to rev the auto all the way to redline? sounds like it because if it was left in D i think it shifts slightly sooner 2 the next gear

a 350 gettin owned by a nissan at the start is unheard of!! :)

@occckid123 Yea I'm moving through the gears. I do this so I can hit closer to the radline since my redline is at 7200 rpm. I have my ecu flashed so it bumped the revs up another 500 but if I leave it in D it will use the old shift points.

@mleija23 it made a huge difference because usually the altima with the 4spd auto is so sluggish inbetween the gears since from 1st to 2nd the rpm's drops off 2 much. nice job and nice sounding altima.

@iProspectJdm Mostly all the usual stuff.. headers, intake, exhaust, ecu flash.. nothing too crazy.

@occckid123 Plus it's the 02-04 style larger diameter steering wheel. Check my 05' 5AT whoopin ass at the track.

@jsnevels2 dude dnt speak its a 4spd auto and i know that for a fact. he basically finished the 1/4 mile at the bottom of 3rd gear around 90 something mph. the 5 spd auto is at the top of 3rd gear at that speed plus the 5 spd auto wasnt available until 05. this is the old interior so in 05 they have an updated interior along with the 5spd aut not the 02-04 altima..

automatic loose power every time it shifts.even though it shifts at correct time its still has to recover each time it shifts.only true non loss trans is the CVT.this model does not have it sir

@mleija23 manual isnt your friend when drag racing automatics are simply because they never let out on power when you change gears your dropping power the automatics never drop hp and never shift to early or shift to late
