  • I'll watch tis channel. I haven't ridden for years and watching you makes me want to start again.
  • Ah! The slippery wood bridge crash! There are those that have, and those that will!

I really liked the new content. The video was a great addition and the information and delivery could easily stand on its own. The slow, and gentle, pace of the riding was a beautiful match to the audio. I ended up listening primarily to the audio and only occasionally watched the video but each time felt they complimented each other beautifully.

oddly reminds me of when GNSteve would chat about computers while downhill biking. That was 6 years ago, I miss that stuff.

Counterpoint: If I had not watched videos mindlessly I would not have watched this video and be inspired to put forth some more effort!

It's easy to go through the present on autopilot and not observe things, as well as to fixate on the future and not reflect on the past. Remaining vigilant and always taking away lessons from experiences is just as essential as having the experiences in the first place. This gives a richness to even the most ordinary experiences at times. Reflecting on your life from the earliest points of your memory up to now is also a valuable task. It allows you to create a mental timeline of your journey and to grow closer to the fact that your life is simply a journey of growth and development. Humans are the only species with a history, and, as we should pay attention to the history of other things and people, we should just as diligently, if not moreso, pay attention to the history of our lives. You might also be surprised by how you can get new insights from past experiences when viewing them from your current, more developed perspective. Hindsight 20/20 so make use of it along with your observations of the present.
