I live in a small rural neighborhood in Pennsylvania and many of my neighbors are also preparedness minded. If I had a radio station like that, I would play the audio of educational and preparedness videos through the broadcast. I truly feel fortunate to live in a community like this and it would be something for me to give back.

I would broadcast a talk radio show, and local news from time to time. Back in the day I used to have a pair of Cobra walkie talkies my parents bought for me and the neighbour to mess around on. Now, I have a CB in my truck which I listen to skip, and sometimes strike up a conversation with folks in the south - from all the way in Canada🙂. Radio is the best thing ever, because it keeps people informed, entertained, and is still a viable means of communication. Thank you for all your videos thus far, and I am glad to have found your YouTube channel! From my family to yours, I wish you a Hoppy Easter!🐰🐣
  • Ever since seeing PUMP UP THE VOLUME as a kid, the idea of being a small station radio DJ has fascinated me. Now as a Dad I'd love to do it fior real with my daughters helping.

I would use it to broadcast good ol' 80s hard rock/heavy metal because radio stations around me only play the crap that's out today. BRING BACK THE 80S! 🙂 Can I hook it to my RM Italy 300 watt CB amp? lol

Looks like a lot of fun for only $50. I think I’m gonna order one to drive my Neighborhood crazy with my Radio Station.

My daughter and grandson live next door to me. I would love to create a radio station just for him that he can listen to anytime and call WGPA (grandpa) for requests!
  • I was a traveling dj for 18yrs? ' I've had a make shift studio room to practice and do radio cuts on practice! I've always wanted to entertain people on The 50s / classics / oldies / Just good pure music ? I had commercials to practice on? Just Fun,Fun,Fun 👍 I still have well over 10,000 + song list would love to get back in it! ( Oldies but Goodies on the east coast!)❤
  • I was the recipient of one these from a give away that Derick did a while back. I have had a great deal of fun with it. I wish all of you luck in the give away.🎉
  • We live in a small town in central Texas. Having the ability to broadcast emergency weather, special event info, and our own brand of tourist information would be exciting and fun, and useful to all who can hear it.

I live near a retirement community (2 blocks away) and a college campus (about 1 mile away). Would love to be able to broadcast the good news of Jesus Christ 24/7. It would be a mix of good music and gospel messages. I think the retirement community in particular would benefit from this. I know some people there and I could spread the news that there's radio station they could tune into. The signal would most definitely make it there. I would be grateful to be able to be in the drawing for this. Thank you and blessings to you Eric and family

My family is an old homesteader family, from the south west side of Mt St in Washington state. More and more "outside" families have bought land and developed around us. We all share many of the same idea's and goals. We all have various hand held radios that we use for communicating with each other. We also share information of emergencies, and even bad weather announcements. A radio station would greatly improve our ability to remain in contact, and share emergency information as well. And would become a central hub for our growing community.
  • I have been looking into getting one, for the small retired community I live in. Maybe a half mile square. I have been looking at the same model. We have a Social Club, Lunch Bunch, Golfer. Been looking at FM or a AM (talking house type) transmitter, that I could put out what is going on, and of course other things. Nice review.
  • I've been blessed to be able to work and play on almost every type of radio (HAM, AM & SW DXing, FM DXing, GMRS, FRS, CB) but I've not tried actual broadcasting. What a wonderful growth opportunity! This would solve a communication problem that my local readiness group has been having for years.

If I were to own my own radio station I would air resources that would bring people information that would empor and motivate in unique ways through the word of God. I would also air any emergency situations. Uplifting music, some comedy, mental health tips, helpful gardening tips and comedy.

Im 18 I just recently got into CB radio and I got a Cobra 29 ltd in my GTI. I absolutely love chatting on it and I go on highway drives every night to chit chat and listen in. I’d love to further get into the hobby and expand my collection, knowledge, and Most importantly radio time. I recently found your channel and have been binging, much love and good luck to everyone🤙

Cool radio, I don’t have a need for it, but exited to see one lucky person win
  • @jamescady723
Very nice! I was just talking two weeks ago to one of the volunteers at my church and we were mulling over the idea of a LPFM station. The church is right smack-dab in the middle of this little town. The building we're in is about 3 stories high, so an antenna atop would reach out nicely. Our biggest problem would be having enough programming content. Not sure the Elder Board would approve it, but it's funny how these things happen. :)
  • I would build a homebrew antenna and have it as high as possible for the most range and broadcast music, news and a daily episode of THE MIDNIGHT CAFE.
  • @131Dusty
First and foremost, I would use it for emergencies. Even power outages. ( Ever wonder when you lose power... Am I the only one in the neighborhood without electric? ) Also a weekly or even a daily Neighborhood News with customer "news leads" and "swap shop"
  • @kd6aaj
I'd probably donate it to our small church so people who are in the neighborhood could listen to the Sunday service on the radio if they are uncomfortable going inside a church, or can't attend for whatever reason.
