  • That animation of sonic going max speed looks so cool, I kinda wished it was used in the final release 😭😭
  • Glad my videos were of use to you. I also found something interesting about the Jungle Joyride beta area which I made a short video about too :) (I also have a bunch of Unleashed related videos that I will also upload soon, they're a more in-depth analysis of the beta areas) Both versions do have a lot of unused interesting things, glad to see more people talking about them. 9:54 - In the files noticed that both the SubPetra_01 for the day and night are missing, these could've been for them. The javelin object was meant to be thrown at the target and used as a pole to swing across, the unused layout out of the mission play it cool would have you climbing up the electricity poles, grabbing it and throwing it at the target on the building where the titan would be, and then back tracking a bit and swinging across.

    14:05 the car generator could have been maybe for Skyscraper Scamper as there are cars in the background of the level at some early point, maybe they could've been at the first and second bridge sections instead of the 4 flying robots and Generations is basically built on top of Unleashed given both share a lot of content, even a couple unused 20:55 the cannot deside sound is used in 06 when you try using the level select before having started a story (particularly Sonic's since he's the first one)

    Apparently the DLCs come with high-quality GI maps except Eggmanland, since it never recieved a DLC pack.
  • Sonic Unleashed is my personal favorite Sonic game so it’s cool to learn about the cut content of both the HD and Wii release.
  • Ngl theres alot i wish stayed in unleashed and came for future games as well, but whatever, something i do really like about unleashed is that when sonic boosts he has a barrier like if he where breaking the sound barrier, while for some reason frontiers had freaking lighting, i dont like the movies combining with the games uniqueness, sonic was always wind and he better stay that way,

    OMG! That footage of DarkspinesSonic using the Werewog to glitch through levels, as a kid, I would watch his videos constantly and try to execute them. And trust me, IT'S HARDER THAN IT SEEMS! That shit is NOT easy! But when I finally did it, Man!!! It felt so damn cathartic to run away in a level that went unused! I did this shit so much! It was fun! Also, most of these cut content would be a nice edition in Sonic Unleashed remastered. Eww...if it ever happens...

  • ( 2:42 ) The wherehog life icon actually does go used in the final SD release within the stage select from the world map to differentiate stages from day and night.

    11:37 That's Super Sonic's actual in game animation for the Trophy icon. Not the unused one. The finished animation used in the game looks different. Heads tilted up and Sonic's mouth is closed. He's not doing a weird smirk in the Trophy icon.
