He can see the pink balls instead of rain because of the effect of the medicine he takes against the depression. The medicine makes him see things in a different and colourful way, but it doesn’t cure his negative approach to things. On the contrary the girl sees things as they are, but her approach to life is positive and she celebrates every thing in life. So the idea is that no depression medicine can change your negative approach to life, but a positive person next to you really can.

As someone who tries to spread joy like the girl in the video, it’s important to know that joy doesn’t happen automatically. It takes time and effort, healthy thoughts and living plus a cultivation of gratitude. I don’t think it “comes easily” to anyone, but it’s so worth fighting for.

“Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass. It’s about learning how to dance in the rain” Loved it 💛

This is beautiful. We all need seven minutes of pink rain once in a while. Thank you. 😊

I love this. This is so much what it's like to suffer from depression! It doesn't mean you're never happy, just that it is SO HARD to hold on to those little sparks, and life keepster catching up with you and it seems to come so naturally and easily for other people sometimes... but it does really help.

As someone suffering with severe depression right now, I'm so thankful for this video, for shiny, happy people like the girl in the video...and for how rain turned into pink fluffballs. Something to wonder at. Something to dance in. This is really beautiful ❤

2:40 I love this scene. The change in music. The soft patter plus the visual drops? So serene. 💙

This was fantastic and a perfect reminder to be kind to one another. One act of kindness could give someone the strength to keep fighting for another day. 💕
  • Just charming and delightful, but with an important message. As someone who suffers with depression, it is so important to get mental health across to the world, thank you for highlighting this ❤

Soft hearts are the one who can fade the depression from a person.😊
  • When I was young, I learned to dance in the ☔️ my children thought I was mad when I jumped in the puddles and dragged them into the rain lol , I danced in the rain with my grandchildren and I also looked after children in care as an educator until I was 70 , and still danced in the rain with them and now at 76 , I still dance in the rain . Do I have depression yes sometimes , yes every one does , but can I help myself to heal yes , I go for a walk look at the clouds and find a picture in them , and I love to dance in the rain I watched jene Kelly in a film when I was a child , and I always remembered how happy it made him , and so I recommend for everyone , bring out your inner child and dance in the rain . Even for a few minutes , it will not make your troubles disappear, but you will feel yourself again in time it might help, and you can’t feel bad if you jump in a puddle, it’s so satisfying lol enjoy your life , love yourself always . ☔️🙏do try it 2024

What an excellent story, and top notch animation with such great attention to detail. I loved how the pink puffs moved away as they danced, and the waves outward as they circled. Just amazing!
