It wasn’t corny when Das EFX did it. It was corny when everyone tried to bite their style. These two mc’s in the HOF imo

Ahhh the artistic days when every emcee and every group strived to have their very own distinctive style. We’ll never be blessed with a hip hop era this great again .

This group was everthing to me in highschool. Their first 3 albums were certified bangers 🔥🔥

Dead Serious came out a few weeks before my final exams in high school and I special ordered it into Canada and it was a life altering moment. That album on repeat was the soundtrack for my studying and I crushed exams and got into 2 top universities. Anything related to where I am today is traced back to that pivotal time in early 1992 when this album was my anchor. Huge thank you to Das EFX for being jussumen on da mic. Respect!
  • This group was very underrated, they made history. They were different and super great dope, fashion style rap flow , omg .this was hip-hop
  • @cnewell31
The fact that they were both English majors makes their word play even more dope imo
  • The only group that u can't separate or determine who's better, they are actually one!! On a song
  • @illmannered1
They were so dope, so ahead of their time.. Their music still holds up, unlike a lot of stuff from the same era. Give these men their flowers.
  • Imma say this though: Das EFX, EPMD, Redman and then Big Daddy Kane and Kool G Rap. That was the best "rap network" ever!
