My brother and I decided to make an old school video back at the old backyard! we poured molten aluminum on some glass cubes and spheres to see what would happen, and to get some cool slow motion footage. We also melted glass and aluminum together to see if they would mix. Its unfortunate the glass sphere melted and fell over in the kiln, oh well, it was still interesting!

You really should at least have a full face shield and a long leather apron on while doing this.

This is incredibly dangerous people have died from doing this. I remember reading one case where someone heated up a chunk of glass on the stove and it exploded. They found him dead in hi apartment a week later he had taken a glass shard in the heart.
