Wow. That turned out beautiful.... if I tried to charge someone 600$ for that at my job, I would be laughed at. And honestly, that sucks! I would be booked about 3 to 4 hours for that process and could charge around $180. I am a super precise stylist and am slow because of it. I like everything to be perfect... and being put on such time restrictions really stresses me out and gives me anxiety. I hope to one day have a shop of my own where I can make my own hours and time limits! Don't get me wrong- I love my job and the ladies I work with! Just hearing you say that you could make 600-700$ on one client makes me hope for better in my own future! You're amazing!

I am a hairdresser in Northern Virginia. I appreciate so very much that you included the time and product that went into this service. I work in an independent salon and no one would pay that price. You are right in doing so though, and I can only hope that some NON hairdressers would see this and have a better understanding of why it is so expensive to go to the salon when they are asking for such elaborate services. Not to mention that you were working on VIRGIN HAIR! I can't even imagine how much more complicated and expensive you would have to make this if you had to deal w/ color treated hair, or courser , or darker hair. Thank you so much for your honesty to the general public as to what really goes into a beautiful salon service:)

Although pricing is greatly effected by demographics of an area, it is wonderful to be able to understand a stylists true worth for her talents and techniques. Im new to this.
