Optimism is the faith that leads to achievement. Nothing can be done without hope and confidence.
  • I agree LVN had an okay season, but man am I excited to see how he improves next year and for years to come. I saw moments/glimpses that really excite me. He’s big, strong, fast and athletic and has all the right tools to become something really special, mark my words.

Watson missed 11 games, but in another 5 games, he clearly was on a pitch count and was not a factor at all. When you factor those 5 additional games into the mix, it paints a much different picture. Like Aaron Jones, you need to be both active and playing a majority of the snaps to be a difference-maker.
  • Hqffley is the DB whisper, looking forward to seeing what he can do with this crew.

Hopefully the new strength and conditioning coach Aaron Hill can help keep Eric Stokes and Christain Watson stay healthy because to me one of the reasons the Packers have struggled the last few years is all the hamstring injuries.

Most interesting story line of 2024; were the defensive players really miscast under Berry or are they just not as good as we hope.

You said his name a ton and he’s my number one packer with my eyes on him for this year. Hafley. Let’s see what he can cook up and coach up

I’d add Rashan Gary. Three sacks on T-Giving vs Lions, then a half sack the entire rest of the season. A timely Gary sack vs SF could have flipped the game. That’s what his paycheck is for, not a half sack in eight games. Frankly, the only returning vets on D I’m not concerned about are Kenny and Preston.

With that Michigan UDFA OL retiring, Donovan Jennings is even more of a shoe in for the 53. We need a standalone episode for him please.
  • The Jordan Morgan domino effect will make the Packers offensive line much better. And the performance of the offensive line is the key to how good the offense will be this season. If the offensive line plays well, GB WILL have a dominant offensive this season because we have the QB and a whole bunch of very good offensive skill players. In addition, Matt L demonstrated last year how skilled he is as an offensive mind and play caller. The Jordan Morgan draft pick makes it highly probable that the Packers offensive line will perform well and the offensive will be amazing. I can’t wait to watch the offense dominate this year. Go Pack Go!

Hate the Jaire narrative that he was in some way a net negative to the team/lockerroom
  • Alexander Gary and Van Ness are all on fraud watch as far as I’m concerned. In the case of Jaire and Rashan, they both need to start playing up to their contracts at least a bit under this new defensive scheme. For Lucas, he needs to demonstrate that he’s not a bust, especially if Enigbare can’t start the season I guess in that sense it’s Haffley who’s really on watch lol. Can he get these guys to play up to their theoretical potential?
  • You had a Yogi Berraism on one of your previous podcasts, I think you were talking about Jordan Morgan, but you said, "His versatility will vary."
  • Watson has only missed 11 games but there's been a lot of games where we clearly wasn't 100% and not doing much so seems like more.

Sorry, but since Tony Mandarich. I don't believe in drafting online in the 1st round.
