Maybe they will understand after Moyesgate gets England beat in the quarter finals.
  • I agree with you, he is easier to watch now not at the club. One of the problems I have with his narratives since leaving (and slightly before) is the reason we shipped so many goals last season was purely because of Rice not being here. 1. He was offered Fofana, which would have given us way more presence in midfield but he insisted on JWP and 2. He was 'Pushed' to play Souceck and Alvarez as a pair all season and only did so when shit hit the fan. All our best performances last season came with those two sitting infront of the back four and just letting the front four attack on the break. We could have easily gone back to the system that had us finishing 6th with Alvarez doing what Rice was doing that season and just holding and letting Souceck play as the 8 (behind the ball when out of possession and box crashing when in possession in the final third) but he was insistent on playing his boy, JWP. So, although I agree that our poor defensive record last season actually sprouted from midfield rather than the back 4, he had options to rectify it which he either decided against or ignored. A lot of mistakes were made last season; all through stubbornness. Mavropanos should have been made a starter from day 1. JWP was held in far too high regard and Kudus should have been starting upon arrival. I dont think Antonio should have ever been taken out of the starting 11 either while fit and available.
  • Thank God MOYSE is OUT lets have a great season and have the last laugh.
