I anticipated moving the furniture in the room to open it up. However having only one curtain on the side of each window would drive my eyes crazy. Spanning the wall with one rod of curtains looks so much more appealing to me.❤

Ohh, I really love how you took the accent wall to the ceiling! I've seen a lot of people make fun of accent walls recently (though it's usually by people who know nothing about interior design), but I think also painting the ceiling if you can is a way to elevate the look and draw your eyes up. Really nice touch!

You know what's cheaper then a media center? A thrifted old long dresser that used to be a vanity style dresser. Found this out on accident. Dad and I couldn't move it up stairs so now it's in my living room and it looks so fancy 🤣. And it has a plethora of storage. Only draw back is that any console has to hangout on top but that's not an issue if you only have a PS4 and a Roku. There is enough room for a lamp on one side ☺️
