RIP Eddie Money. My era. Very tight band I must say. Especially the guitarist and the rhythm section.

Tis song is timeless. Eddie was even more powerful than i remembered.
  • I can respect anyone who sings good as his record as he does on stage.
  • That bongo player was really getting into it. Classic song from the 70s.

Jimmy Lyons was such an unbelievable and underrated guitarist.
  • I heard Two Tickets To Paradise on the radio when I was eight years old back in the seventies. Fell in love with Eddie Money's voice. He was one of the greatest singers of all time. RIP Mr. Eddie Money you totally deserve it. Your music brings back my happy childhood memories. You are now singing in paradise.
  • I was playing bass in a band back in the early 80's and we rented a rehearsal studio in Burbank, California. This was a high-end studio where big names bands came to rehearse. Right next to us was another band setting up to practice, but their door was closed so we didn't know who they were. Their drummer started playing a very familiar beat and as soon as their guitarist started playing the lead riff I knew it was Eddie Money's band! Playing "Two Tickets to Paradise!" My band mates and I just sat there listening to Eddie's band jam away. Later that night they took a break and their door opened and we meet Eddie and his band. Some of the best guys you could ever want to meet! Thanks for the memories! RIP Eddie...

Hadn't thought about this song for a long time....heard it on the fm oldies station on the way home from work......wanted to hear it again to recall some memories.....one thing about old songs; when you hear them they can bring back both good and bad memories....... About 35 years ago, a good friend was diagnosed with a terminal disease and always wanted to go somewhere special but couldn't afford it. I bought two tickets and paid all the expenses for lodging, meals, etc in advance and went over to their house. Took out my "Eddie Money" album and played this song as loud as I could.......presented them with the two tickets and everyone was happy and crying......they are both deceased now...... but felt special and brought some joy in their lives ......thank you Eddie Money for recording this

Am I the only one that noticed that savage conga (precussionist) player? Anyone know who he is? He's awesome.

Remember Eddie from when he lived in the Bay Area. He used to play at this club in Berkeley a lot. Girl I went to school with out-of-control little sister was having a fling with him. Wow, I just like Eddie I'm getting old!
