I have a setback and did a big chop in September last year. This was a result of using gel constantly. The roots were thick. The rest much thinner. I am now cutting out chemicals and using natural diy products. I am incorporated a lot of what I have learned from you. I am seeing so much growth in such a short time. Keep up the good work.

You look BEAUTIFULL. This protective style really really suits you!

    the skin… your hair… you’re just gorgeous!! ❤
  • You’re like the epitome of Nigerian femininity, you remind me of some of the calm women I grew up around.

A silent hair killer is tap water that is hard. Essentially hard water is the worst for your skin and hair. Please use rain water whenever you can to bath and use on your hair. You'll see such an absolute amazing change. Ever since I started using rain water, i actually have my curls popping without putting any product in. Wet or dry my curls are still visible

Can we all take a moment to compliment her on her stunning beauty❤ Wow, you look like a majestic black and NATURAL Queen. I emphasize NATURAL because it's rare to find these days. Thank you for your videos ❤❤❤❤

Ma’am, you and your crown are stunning but you also have a soothing voice that holds audience attention. Like audiobook/narration if you will
  • @gracajose8474
Exactly. I o let use plain water when washing my hair. But when I moisturize my hair it’s always clove water, rice water or even ginger water
  • @Memnon-mh9vc
Thank you so much for the clear breakdown of hydration and moisturization.

first of all, look absolutely beautiful and elegant , second i have been wondering how to hydrate my hair without water alone cause I noticed it dries it out even more and breaks when I use water alone, and you have explained it beautifully. Thank you so much, i immediately subscribed cause I finally found someone who truly understands our hair and how it operates. its quite rare to find YouTubers who fully understand african hair , especially when the natural hair movement began. I'm so glad slowly by slowly ladies like you are coming up. People who you can relate to. I had to join your community.

Ma'am, you are so gorgeous, and your HAIR!!! You really remind me of Lisa Bonet. 😍
  • I agree, showed your video to a friend with 4C Low Porosity hair who was getting to the point of being scared to wash her hair as it just knotted up (today's tap water contains fluoride and limescale) and it she left it to dry naturally in a protective style it would be wet for days. She tried a tea rinse made with distilled water, 3 days after a henna treatment (which dried her hair out a little) and after watching your video. The tea rinse left her hair soft and drank up the tea within hours like a nourished starved plant.

Thank you Lindsay for this information! I’m just 7 months in of trying to go back to being natural from years of relaxing my hair. . My hair is pass my shoulders. I won’t be doing the big chop so I have some ways to go 😅. This information is greatly appreciated as I’m a beginner at this. You have a new subscriber! Thank you for sharing what has helped you not only grow out your gorgeous hair but keep it healthy as well. Much love, God bless you. 💕
  • @MissFirstlady
So glycerine it is 😊. Been struggling to find ways of maintaining moisture
  • My lady, you keep getting more creative with the hairstyles, it's what crazy that 'black' hair has been neglected. You're doing the most, what a beauty. Edit: You're skin has improved, maybe have a separate channel for it. Nug, nug 😉
