NOTHING compares to the Charge of the Rohirrim
-
Ride of rohrrhim should’ve been first
-
The charge from Gettysburg still gives me goosebumps every time I hear Jeff Daniels scream, “BAYONETS!” Great acting and great film.
-
Fun fact: King Helm Hammerhand of Rohan is called "Hammerhand" because he killed all his enemies with his bare hands.
-
The charge in the Last Samurai is criminally underrated, but I gotta admit that the Ride of the Rohirrim definitely should have been first :)
-
Ride of Rohirrims are most epic charge in all cinema history. This scene is number one!
-
10th black gate charge 2 helms deep 1 ride now ride now ride the ruins and the worlds ending
-
The best charge for me is the first charge in the "Last Samurai". The one in the fog with the screams. Just amazing.
-
The charge of the French cavalry in Waterloo should be on the list, thousands of real soldier actors, no cgi, and real cannons and effects. One of the best charges imo
-
Ride of the Rohirrim makes me incredibly emotional. That should be number one.
-
I charged my phone when watching this.
-
I like band of brothers but let's be real here...... does that even really qualify as a "charge"? It was more of an ambush than anything else

This Video was sponsored by Sarumans, a Sauron cooperation

Forth, and fear no darkness. Arise, arise Riders of Théoden! Spears shall be shaken, shields shall be splintered. A sword day, a red day, ere the sun rises! Ride now! Ride now! Ride! Ride for ruin, and the world’s ending! Death! Death! Death! Forth Eorlingas! Most epic speech and scène!

Gettysburg is my personal favorite. The attention to detail and the passion that went into making it not just by the main actors and crew but the hundreds (thousands?) of re-enactors that volunteered their time and own costumes and props. Awesome.
-
The dark night scene made no sense. They have guns, take cover and fire. Sure you charge when the enemy is entrenched but if they're just standing in the open shoot.
-
Two words Infantry never want to hear... "Fix Bayonets"
-
The Ride of the Rohirrim gave me chills.
-
The charge at Fort Wagner from Glory is easily one of the best charges in Film, and it's not on this list. :(

Forgot to mention the charges in: “Spartacus” (1960), “El Cid” (1961), “Lawrence of Arabia” (1962), “Zulu” (1964), “Glory” (1989), “We Were Soldiers” (2002), “Troy.” (2004).
