  • 💗 Simple things you can do today to change your life 1. Practice mindfulness = Become more aware of your present thoughts and feelings right now. Don't judge yourself if you feel low, guilty or lazy. Allow yourself to be honest about how you are feeling. Ways to be more mindful: Write down your thoughts, listen to uplifting music, meditate, go outside and spend some time in nature, spend some time with a positive friend, draw a picture, color in a coloring book or sit in the park or outside a coffee shop and just enjoy relaxing and watching people walk by. 2. Practice self gratitude = Praise yourself, thank yourself, acknowledge the good things you have done now and in the past. Focus on how you have been a good influence on other people, your friends, your family, your work colleagues, your social media followers. Sometimes we receive so much negative criticism, unwanted and negative feedback from other people. We need to show ourselves some self love and self respect. Only you can see how truly talented, gifted and kind you are. 3. Turn off the news or start decreasing how much news and celebrity gossip you watch, read and listen to.

    I won't say that I'm gonna get a complete change in my life from this. Because I know it takes a lot. But, these calming videos helps in the short as well as in the long run, atleast for me. I know, my subconscious mind will grasp atleast one of the points that is mentioned here in this video and I would stick to it eventually for the rest of my life. Well, for the time being, it has lowered my anxiety and provided a sense of calmness. And it's night here. So what else is needed for a good night's sleep. Thanks Aileen for these calming and helpful videos. These helps in so many ways.
