    I feel like movies tell us a lot about where we're at in history. And I don't fully know what the vibes of 2023 are telling us, but it resonates with me. Something about this fear of our own destruction, or maybe acceptance, or maybe trying to fight against it and be better. Something about being dropped into a completely different world, or the world we're already in not being what we think it is; it's full of monsters and violence and pain and grief. But also beauty. And hope. And courage. We want to be our own person, do our own thing, create our own story. We want to spend time with our loved ones. We want things to be better. But in order for things to be better, we have to face the things that hurt us and the ways we've hurt other people. We feel doomed, and we want to escape. We feel lost, and we want to be found. We feel hopeless, but we haven't given up yet. We're either running away from our past or stuck in it. We're either scared of the future or tired of waiting for it. We keep idolizing heroes, but it turns out... we have to be our own hero.

    Your matchcuts are exquisite! I knew I was in for a real treat at 1.15 when the pinball turns into Mario in the wormhole. Too many other examples to mention but a fabulous job on this. Well done :)

    i was watching one of the aquaman sections and i was just thinking ‘god i’d love it if blue beetle was in this section’ and then i just saw blue beetle, anyone would think this was paychic
