This is a tremendous help. After a stroke I'm slowly trying to get back in music. Can't recall much of Cubase anymore. Great video, Dom.
  • Best 14 minutes a new user could spend. Great information - not rushed or complicated. Great job Dom.
  • Thanks! In the 90s I was loading Cubase to my Atari every day after school, a couple of years later I quit the Australian Institute Of Music Cubase course at 19 years old for knowing more than the certified Cubase instructor. That was 1996. Now 26 years later inside of Logic and Ableton, I am returning to an unrecognisable version of Cubase. This helps a lot. Thank you. Crazy how Iโ€™m more of a student at 44. Sigh.

  • Dom THANK YOU!! I've been compossing in FL Studio for almost a decade, but been wanting to move over to Cubase for mixing and mastering. This video helps a lot. I'm completely new to Cubase!

Thank you so much for this! I was very familiar and comfortable with Ableton Live but I had to switch to Cubase for one of my clases and when I opened it i was super lost and out of my comfort zone, but I found this video and now Iยดm all set!

Thanks, Dom! your tutorials are fantastic. So many other youtube tutors could learn your pacing and quality of production.

I've watched so many videos here and this one has me recalling things I have viewed previously, but not yet included into my workflow. Now I have many tips to improve everything. Many thanks....

Dom. Broad overview videos like this perform a valuable service. It is easy to get bogged down in details. A video that shows the big picture is SO important.
  • @MortenChristian
After 12 years with FL Studio it is finally happening, a move to Cubase because I'm reaching the limits within FL Studio with cinematic orchestrations. Looking forward to the journey :)
