Why Everyone HATES Tom Cruise..

I was a utility stand-in on MI2. I never spoke with Cruise directly, but I noticed he was very hard working, polite to everyone, and driven. He had everyone's respect including Billy, the second unit director.

I was an extra on Rain Man. We worked a long day with Tom Cruise. At least on that day he was professional and very serious but was kind to everyone. He came to the extras and crew several times and thanked us for our patience. We were filming a bank scene after the sun went down and apologized to us for the long day. I mentioned that most banks are closed by dark, at least in the 1980's and he laughed and asked the director why were were filming after dark and they called it a wrap.

Some people hate him for being in Scientology…others bc he’s the biggest actor in the world…some bc he demands perfection in his movies…it doesn’t matter, he puts 110% into his work…his religious beliefs are none of our business…plus I’ve only heard celebrities say TC is a great guy…just enjoy his movies and quit judging him or anybody

He's not hated by the audience. Hollyweird is just full of haters

This vid is clickbait. Many of these people don’t hate Tom at all. The Brad Pitt comment sounds worse outside of context. Brad said in the same comment “…tom catches alot of crap because he’s on top…” - Thandie said "He tries superhard to be a nice person. But the pressure. He takes on a lot," she doesn’t hate him at all, just said it was hard on set because John Woo decided not to speak English so Tom had to handle the direction. Also, why did you use a Zoe Saldana clip for Thandie Newton? - the Afghanistan comment is a complete lie from TMZ and you’ve glossed over it. He actually questioned the lawyer for comparing him having to work abroad, away from Suri to military going to Afganistan. Tom actually said “"Do you believe that the situations are the same?" Cruise is asked. "Oh come on," Cruise says, "you know, we're making a movie." So basically Tom said the opposite… Do better

I have a friend in LA and she said working with Tom is hard but only because it’s hard to keep up with his feverish work ethic and perfectionism. I’ve worked with those types and I’ve been that type myself. Most people that work with tom said he is great.

Brad Pitt couldn’t deal with the fact that Tom acted circles around him, Pitt had expected to be the star of the movie but he was dull and shallow in comparison to Tom’s Lestat. Tom MADE the movie. Also, Brad didn’t like Tom telling him to take a shower because Pitt reeked of pot 😂. Their animosity got so bad that Brad walked off set a few times and threatened to bail. He didn’t in the end but only so he wouldn’t be sued…

Tom shot in my neighborhood in DC. Everyone loved him and he was extremely patient with the residents who wanted photos and autographs. Class act.

This is a dumb video. A lot of people love Tom and have great things to say about him. People who have actually met him say he’s one of the nicest guys in Hollywood.

Interview with a Vampire was a excellent movie because of Tom Cruise. TC was the star, his talent overshadowed co actors Brad Pitt, Antonio Banderas, etc. That was the film that gave him respect with the audience because he did not play it safe by playing the commercial Tom Cruise. Even in Rock of ages it was great to see him sing.

Say what you want about Tom, everything he’s in he gives 110% like many of you have said here. And from everything I’ve seen, he’s nothing but nice to his fans. In one video at the premiere for Dead Reckoning Part 1 he even asked one fan if they were happy with how the photo he’d just taken with them came out. And yes, he was without question the best part of Interview with the Vampire.
