I'm filming two special express trains bound for Nakanoshima (from Sanjo) during Golden Week in 2023. The vehicle was a 6000 series 8-car train with a head mark of "6000 series 40th anniversary".
This temporary limited express evacuates the passing rapid limited express "Rakuraku" while it is stopped at Tanbabashi Station.
The 8000 series limited express trains are operated with the "SANZEN-HIROBA Renewal Open" and "Kyoto Racecourse Grand Opening" of Kuzuha Mall, which were renewed in April, as well as vehicles with the head mark of "Yodoyabashi Underground Extension Line Opening 60th Anniversary". was
Five limited express trains bound for Yodoyabashi, Rakuraku, run in the evenings on holidays, and four of them are shown in the video (3000 series).
Keihan Tambabashi Station has 2 platforms and 4 tracks on an island platform. Lines 1 and 2 are for Demachiyanagi, and tracks 3 and 4 are for Yodoyabashi. Limited express trains and rapid limited express trains pass through tracks 2 and 3 on the inner side.
There is Tanbabashi Station on the Kintetsu Kyoto Line next to it, but in the past, it was connected to the Keihan line because it was a mutual line. In the video, you can see that the track that extends straight from Platform 4 of Keihan Tambabashi Station to the Yodoyabashi side is cut off, but it seems that the line that was connected to Kintetsu is beyond that.
The first half of the video is taken from the Yodoyabashi/Nakanoshima platform, and the second half is taken from the Demachiyanagi platform.
