I'm Mexican, my grandma had a soursop tree in her yard and she would say the Chaneques liked to hang out in the soursop trees and that's why we would find half eaten soursop fruits on the ground during soursop season, Thanks for including the Chaneques on the list, it brought me fond memories from my childhood.

In Northen Italy, we have lots of mythical creatures, like the "Drago Tarantasio"; it is a snake-dragon with only a pair of paws, it eats children and brings the "Yellow Fever". The legend says it was born from the corpse of a worrior who used to wall up the prisoners and gouing out the eyes of the children.

The image of Dokkaebi, the Korean goblin is closer to a Japanese Oni. Dokkaebi are actually known as benevolent trickster spirits tied to meaningful objects that occasionally take the shape of a human.
