"She knows exactly what is beautiful because no one has yet told her she is wrong"

I hope somebody listened to this for the first time in a public place and said everything she told them to out loud to the confusion of the people around them

I love that if you assume that everything in Within the Wires and Alice Isn't Dead happens in the same universe as Night Vale, you can see a lot of cool links... Well done, Nightvale Team!
  • @adelavais
I like that they play with the thin line between safety and peril, distress and relaxation in everything they do. I'm addicted already. Love their work.

I will laugh if someone actually transfers these to cassette tapes.
  • her words, her pronunciation...cadence and tone...💖😍...enchanting...

Within the Wires seems to be just as weird and surreal as Night Vale and Alice. Maybe even more. I really like it.

...wow. It's disconcerting, esoteric, eerie, yet oddly comforting. Just how I like it. Hopefully stress vomit stains won't afflict you anymore.

Omg, i paused right before she asked "are you where you were before" cause i had to let the cat out, and when i hit play, i freaked out a little

I actually followed along with the majority of the prompts in the audio and I feel surprisingly relaxed. It has been a very tense and stressful couple of days, and this has helped me to feel a bit better. So, thank you for that!
  • What I understand from this story is that the person listening to this is in some mysterious institution and has to hear these cassettes. I am used to hearing Cecil's voice, but Janine is as creepy as him.

I followed it like a guided meditation. side be is maybe the most empathy for nature I've ever experienced.

Now that I am caught up with Welcome to Night Vale I need to within to this, Alice isn't dead, and The Orbiting Circus. Also, after listening to this episode her voice reminds me of Cecil they are both so calm and relaxing that I just fall asleep.
  • Got recommended this by a friend. For a moment before it got all creepy I thought it was an actual relaxation tape! So glad I was wrong.

-END SIDE A- I should not have followed the instructions
  • @hsoms1234
for a second I worried this would be normal
  • @KokoroKaisen
I started listening to this when my mom was fighting cancer. My depression was spiraling, but the exercises here actually helped me a lot. I still listen to this episode to relax sometimes
  • @herklapaduza
Really creepy but at the same totally relaxing oddly enough xD A very good combination of story and actual purpose of the cassette, it reinforces a lot the feeling of integration of the spectator to the story. Can't wait for the other tapes ! :)
