Uhhh… The correct verb in the title should be “avenge”, NOT “revenge”. “Avenge” is the action of getting revenge.

I get that the book essentially turned Reacher into Superman, but Season 2 took what the book did and dialed it up to 11. Halfway through the season I was expecting Reacher to get shot in the head, then a few minutes later just pop back up like nothing happened. The season was absurd, and yes, the book it's based on is absurd, but they could have toned it down some. Not everyone needed to be Captain America

So dude successfully turns back, spots Richer, takes out a gun, than fails a QTE, and instead of shooting he decides to hit with a gun. These scene is so lame imo.
