  • My heart goes out to her , I can't imagine the pain and horror she went through. I pray Elizabeth is at peace šŸ•Šļø
  • Fun fact if you guys ever visit New England: There's a small memorial plaque to Elizabeth Short near her birth place outside of Boston.
  • @lisag18
Can you imagine walking on the sidewalk and literally RIGHT THERE is brutally murdered human being?
  • I'm glad to see this. The Black Dahlia was from my home town. She worked in one of the stores that was in Medford Square. I hope she is resting in peace. She is a member of the Blue and White. She was a Mustang. Medford MUSTANGS!!! Thank you for keeping it respectful. My mother told me where she used to work. That store was still in my city years later. She is one of us Medford people and she was loved.
  • Interesting fact: that portion of Paramount that you showed at the beginning used to be Desilu Studios. Before that, it was RKO Studio.
  • I'm loving this new photo match up thing!! Please do that as much as possible cuz its badass
  • @Peg-ee5ei
I have never seen anyone lay photos Elizabeth over the current day photographs. That was a stunning revelation. This was brilliantly, and respectfully done. Thank you! šŸ’—

Definitely chilling looking at the crime scene and autopsy photos as I'm watching this video. That poor young beautiful woman had no idea she would become famous for the wrong horrible reasons!
  • @horror_2s
Pleasure to meet you the other day brotha! Thanks for including us!
  • My wife works at Paramount in Valentinoā€™s old house on the lot. The studio is so amazing to tour if you get that chance. So much history.
  • My mom worked at a newspaper in LA when the murder occurred. The guys in the newsroom obtained pictures of the killing. She told me the cuts were very clean.
  • @MsBluheart
Love the way you always meticulously line up the photo references. Love your attention to detail

You use the word 'respect' a lot in your travels. I generally believe that respect has to be earned. You guys earn more and more with each video I watch. You are always respectful of others and never do anything in bad taste. It's part of what makes you the best at what you do. Keep up the grimm work.
  • That is wild that certain landmarks are still there and yes those crime scene photos are very gruesome.

The story of Elizabeth Short scares me. I feel compelled to look into her life since the first time I saw the gruesome pics of her corpse. There is another story. Janice Knowlton believed he father Georgie did the killing in westminster ca on Texas Street. She also believed her dad killed other women in a brutal way. Janice is now dead. She worked at Disneyland and lived in anahiem hills ca. They belive she may of killed herself. I've been to the places Short was supposed to have been. I don't know how accurate her story was but Janice truly believed in her mind that her dad was the killer. Her story is very sad.
  • My old high school! well, not old, Iā€™m only 30 lol, but that school is gorgeous. Leo DiCaprio went there before dropping out
  • The Black Dahlia unsolved murder is so sad šŸ˜„. It really scares me what happened to her. I hope the more her story is told, one day she will have resolution šŸ˜Šā™„ļø
  • @chrismcgill
pretty cool tour, dude. Those shots from her photo shoot at that high school were really sad. She seemed happy in them :(
  • One Thanksgiving, my grandparents had a guest for dinner. Robert Hansen. He was the youngest detective from LAPD to investigate The Black Dalia murder and I heard the story from his own lips. He said, "I know it was the doctor, but he had friends on the force, and we kept hitting dead ends." Keep up the good work, I have met some other strange characters & I can be found. KI6VST

I really appreciate your high level of respect for the subject of the case. As a man who researched and corresponded with experts on the case, I thank you
