Somewhere between a video review and a documentary, Jason Cammisa on the ICONS is the highest-quality car review on the planet. This episode features the S650 Mustang Dark Horse, a first-generation 1966 Mustang Convertible, second-generation Mustang II, third-generation Fox-Body Mustang, SN95 Mustang, S197 Mustang Boss 302, and Cammisa's own footage from his reviews of the S550-chassis Shelby GT350 and GT500.

But in a twist, it also includes a first-generation Ford Probe GT, a B1-chassis Volkswagen Fox, an E30-chassis BMW M3, and of course, today's G82-chassis BMW M4 Competition.

SCCA Hall of Fame race car driver, Randy Pobst, sets a lap time around Chuckwalla in the Mustang Dark Horse and M4 Competition, as Jason breaks an axle doing reverse donuts in a front-wheel-drive Ford Probe — which was supposed to replace the Mustang entirely.

I mustang the whole Hagerty team for this high quality video.

I think the production does its job very well. Whether it's 5 10 or 20 people who are hired to make this look very good, they still know their job and know how to make it look flawless. I'm really glad that I can watch the videos more than once. The greatest respect from me.🎉

I cannot believe we get this level of story telling, cinematography and comedy for free on YouTube! Thank you Hagerty for putting out episodes like this for us car lovers to enjoy

This is my first time coming on this channel. And as an italian freelance professional photographer and videomaker, the filming, the shots, the sound effects, the colors used, the music, THE EDITING, the WRITING. It is just freaking SUBLIME. Most people don't realize how much work actually goes in a 30 minute video, but jesus christ you are all amazing. Congrats to the entire team that worked behind the scenes to make this video possibile. Alao, freaking amazing storytelling and car examples even from the era. I'm amazed. I'd love to work behind the scenes on something like this

This mini movie was beyond magical. Not a single boring moment, in fact, everything got over so quick and I only realised it when the ending credits started. Totally engrossed the rest of the time. Flawless production, unreal videography. We definitely need wallpapers of all the cars involved during the shoot at those jaw dropping angles at sunset! Going to watch this one again. Tomorrow.
  • @tjbredow
Whoever makes the closed captioning for this show has as much character and passion as the rest of the team. Bravo. This is a masterclass on production end-to-end. I might just run out and get a Dark Horse.
  • @iNisce
That drone shot at 24:55 is one of the most amazing mid-turn shots I have ever seen on anything not computer generated. That is absolutely insane.
  • @KurumaDesigns
The fact we are getting these videos for free is something we all should be super thankful for, outstanding production!
  • @the_dude1953
I’m blown away by how good every single one of these mini documentaries are. Fantastic job to the entire team, you’ve truly created something special and unique, not an easy task these days. You had a vision, and you executed it to perfection!
  • @TonyWardUK
From someone in the UK, who has very little experience of the Ford Mustang history, this was a fantastic lesson. The quality of this content is amazing 👏
  • @JD-cc3tz
I’ve never watched a full episode of any review without fast forwarding. This I watched from start to finish. I’ve had 9 mustangs and you taught me more about the mustang name in half hour than I’ve learned in 35 years. Great watch !!!!!
  • @danmagill7616
These are by FAR the best reviews anywhere, and each new video out does the previous one. Jason was born for this role, and Randy still knows how to drive. Well done!
  • @thefizzymind
This production quality achieved here is absolutely INSANE—and it’s MILES ahead of a Netflix documentary! 😳 And that, Jason, is precisely why we keep coming back to you… 🙄
  • @AlexanderDreams
Jason Cammisa is probably the best car journalist we currently have around today. His ability to be entertaining , informative and family friend is absolutely awesome. Paired up with the racing Legend Randy Pobst and you’ve created the greatest car duo the world never knew it needed!
  • @ayushchoubey635
Randy's presence is very underrated here, I demand more screentime for him.🙂
  • @HR66590
The last 30 second hidden subtitle message is hilariously true
  • @matthurley7828
Hagerty just out here evolving into the greatest automotive content maker of all time. Another masterpiece and we car enthusiasts thank you for it.
  • @rolo1175
Jason, Randy, and Hyphen: the new trio to fill the Top Gear/Grand Tour void. Keep up the great work and for the love of all that is good, make it happen.
  • @red58fury
Another amazing Documentary! Perfectly edited and amazingly shot. Incredible presentation by Jason and the whole Hagerty family.
