Dr. Samaneh Shahgaldi is an Associate Professor at the University of Quebec and an Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Waterloo. She holds the Canada Research Chair (CRC) Tire II at proton exchange membrane fuel cells. She is an award-wining researcher and a member of the editorial board of the International Journal of Green Energy. She was also a Senior Research Scientist at Cummins/ Hydrogenics dealing with different Fuel Cell and Water electrolyzer projects. She published more than 60 articles with over 2100 citations on hydrogen storage, production, fuel cells, nanomaterials, etc. Currently, her team are working on different fuel cells and electrolyser components to increase the performance and durability of both technologies.
