Useless interview. She hasn’t done anything for Oakland. She needs to be recalled!

She’s done a horrible job. The criminals are ruining the city. She should have brought in the National Guard and the CHP to help with the lawlessness. Oakland PD has to play with a criminal friendly rules that the citizens wanted. That lenient DA needs to go as well.

If you can’t share any information due to an ongoing investigation then why take the interview at this time?

She’s gotta go. Don’t care what she says. She’s a failure.

If everything is an ongoing investigation, why even have an interview??? literally a waste of time. She just needs to step down, too much drama with her, she's adding on the problems Oakland is dealing with.

This mayor has too much drama to deal with and should step down to focus on her personal life. Oakland doesn't need to be tainted with additional troubled circumstances surrounding Mayor Sheng Thao. It's even a waste of the city's tax dollars doing this interview. Imaging how much of her mental and physical energy is spent on the FBI raid. Also, Oakland is a failed city. They need a stronger, more transparent, un-corrupt, true leader that doesn't hide in their office every day. The only time you really see a politician in public and answering questions is when they're campaigning for election. She should move on. She's holding on to her anger and ego. It's a bad look that you can see in her recent interviews. She needs a fresh start in another career. If she wants to fight back, do it without tax payers' money.

As someone born and raised in Oakland, this chic is not from Oakland and this is the primary problem. Firstly, we have to stop voting in these people who are not from Oakland, because they don’t have any vested interests in Oakland. Secondly, we have to stop voting in people who don’t have the capacity to do basic governance. We vote too many people in office based on agendas and not on their ability to do their basic job such as running the business of a City. They don’t know anything about balancing budgets, they don’t know anything about allocating resources; and it’s too much focus on special interests and political ideology. And voting these people in based on Agendas and Political ideology is the main reason why these unscrupulous people are getting into office and running these cities in the ground. If we voted for people who are actually from these cities and have lived here for a very long time, and who are actually qualified to do these jobs, about 80% of these local elected representatives wouldn’t qualify.

Crime has more than doubled within her 1 year term. They decriminalized most stuff so they CAN SAY there's no crime. lol
