Agree. "Built-ins are dated" and limiting. This tour is full of excellent advice and useful information. A wonderful classroom. I am saving up for the beautiful cotton animal print. I'm in love with Alex's style and have been for years. His broad knowledge of design, divine taste and love of life is inspiring (use your good stuff always) and makes a beautiful maximalist home. His extensive collection of gorgeous objects against luscious colours and prints are spectacular. I especially love the idea of lampshades made from a table cloth and its border. High end for sure but comfortable, livable and very personal. Who could ask for more? Bravo!
