Let Demi be. She's entitled to speak or write about anything she wants. Her bad decisions notwithstanding, she only fell in love and lost. That she writes and talks about it is her way of coping with the situation, no matter if it happened a long time ago. At least she's no longer as depressed as she seemed to be before. Just let's give her a break.

This book isn't about Ashton, but it's her life story starting with a turbulent childhood and alcoholic mother who pimped her out at age 15 for 500 dollars. It's also about letting people know about her mistakes. Demi has a right tell her story so that other women can learn from her mistakes. Much of what was said was taken out of context. Ashton was a part of her life and how she at that time of their relationship would do anything to keep Ashton and be the wife that he wanted her to be. She lost herself in the process and turned to alcohol after 20 years of sobriety after her 6 month miscarriage. Ashton also pressured her into drinking again by saying a couple of glasses of alcohol won't hurt. It's a story about someone who came from nothing and had nothing and became one of the most famous women in the world. She had everything you could dream of and lost much of herself when the miscarriage came and the marriage fell apart. Demi fell apart because she gave everything to Ashton and it wasn't enough. It took a lot to help her find he way back and wanted other women to know the truth and not to make the same mistakes that she did. Don't judge until you read the book..

People don't understand that an older woman being with a younger guy doesn't always prove as successful...as when an older man is with a younger woman. People want it to be even so badly and it never will be. The first time that older woman starts bitching and complaining to that younger guy she automatically puts herself in the Mom zone. It's easier for younger women to be with older men than it is the other way around.
