It was fun to have you along, your blanking in needs some work but sure the kids will show you next season.
  • Beautiful, fascinating! I like it! Great filming, great shooting, good looking birds! The clothings, the guns, the scenery, the camaraderie, the rain!! So different than up here! Cheers!

Great work Sasha, for such terrible weather you still made an outstanding production.
  • From France : all English spirit on this shooting game vidéo, absoutely lovely 😊

American Viewer here, honestly love the different takes on hunting as a whole where ever you go. Maybe once I’m older and have the cash to travel I could get to try my hand hunting abroad in the different traditional styles. Also I enjoy seeing the fancier double barrel guns instead of the relatively common semi autos and pumps that make up the fields and woods around me.
  • Always a good Sunday with a new tgs video! Thanks for the outstanding content like always! 👍🏼
  • @feath3rs
As a young guy who recently got his hunting license this is the kind of stuff I want to participate in
  • Johnny, great meeting you today at Browning San Antonio, TX. My uncle was no help in identifying the video I shared with him, but it was this one, covering your day in the Savernake. Enjoy your time in Texas and thank you for producing these informative videos.
  • @Parfashrek
Such an enjoyable watch, most envious I’ve been of a shoot in awhile!
  • Savernake, such great history. Palaeolithic, Mesolithic, Neolithic et al, lets not forget a medieval hunting forest for historians and legends alike xx
  • @markhinkle6022
Well done. Enjoyed your interview on the Birdshot pod cast as well!
  • These are the shoots I tend too beat and shoot at more of a family feeling rather then a commercially run shoot where your just a number in the line

  • @MrPrimatori
Great video as always, question for Johnny, have you ever done a video on how to clean a gun properly after a heavy days rain? We all know how to clean after a normal day in the field or the Clay's but often not sure what extra things to do after a fine soaking. What did you do with your gun after this shoot?

Very nice video. Describes the essence of being a sportsman no matter what part of the world your from!

I honestly couldn't have enjoyed that more to an old shooter like me it's lovely to see old traditions kept alive with a nod to the future ie those charming youngsters I would say keep the tie though thanks for a most enjoyable post regards and stay safe and well
  • @Cbrezee1
Can honestly say I completely agree with the modernization of the things that are frowned upon to closer align with what you were talking about. Cheers from Canada.
  • Looks like a great place to shoot well done for having all the youngsters too they are the future to our sport.
