I love how they maintained the same feeling
-
I love how it’s similar but still has its differences! I love this show 💜
-
This show may take place in the 2020s, but it still feels like a show taken from the 2000s, just what I love.
-
After all these years, I am surprised that they had the old cast play their young characters, Kyla Pratt still sounds like Penny Proud. And new voices for Michael and the twins.
-
It's kinda sad that the creators received death threats if they didn't make the 2022 version look like the 2001 one.
-
I love how they change who ever came in the door based on the episode
-
You know I noticed Bobby was singing the intro when Penny was heading off to school
-
Man the nostalgia is hitting harder than how Penny's Dad got slammed by the front door from his own mother!
-
I wasn't part of this generation, but I prefer the old one. The hand-drawn feels more natural and more exaggerated, but the Toon Boom isn't bad.
-
The characters look so flat and their expressiveness has gone down severely, But I love the more dynamic camera work and use of lighting. The old show has much more stilted animation and just sort of clips from one shot to the next, but the characters seem like they have more weight and depth, plus they're much more expressive. They both have their pros and cons but I'd give the win to the old school one just because of the song. U just can't beat Destiny's Child. Or at least whoever sings the new one couldn't.

The fact that penny is obsessed with her phone speaks volumes
-
2001- Nostalgic 2022- Love the animation style very smooth.
-
The original was fine. The reboot/remake is a dumpster fire.
-
0:37 I love how she grabbed the phone and gave it to her
-
i like how they maintained the original feel of the show while still making it modern to relate to current audiences, a great job imo
-
If they didn't go so far to make the reboot as racist as possible I might have loved it as much as the original. Sad times indeed.
-
Even though the 2000s version of proud family is always my childhood I'll give the new version a chance as long as they still have that type of humor and the energy like It did back in the day and they don't start making the show become severely corny and unwatchable
-
I applaud the animators for adding Bobby in the family photo in the new intro. I think I like Bebe & Cece’s newer designs a little better.
-
Unpopular opinion : the old one is better.

Both intros are amazing but can't believe they ruined the show
