this is top tier, I learned how to crochet yesterday and now I can't stop making baby animals. I love it! <3
  • The first thing i ever did with crochet, literally in the same day I bought the yarn and decided to learn it. Your videos will always have a special place in my heart
  • I've never been so proud. I started crocheting 2 days ago and i managed to make a yellow and teal baby jellyfish, his name is Timothee and I love him more than my own life <3
  • I just started crocheting yesterday. I have watched over a million different beginner tutorials on how to make something so I can feel accomplished. this was the only video I understood- now I have a cute little jellyfish!

My 11 year old son found this video, watched it and has been crocheting all the little babies. I bought him the Jellyfish mom pattern and we'll see how it goes! Thanks for the tutorial and photo tutorials since I'm not a lot of help to him since I knit.

I want to thank you for this video, i started crochet a few months ago and i never understood why my stitches looked okay but not quite like the one the pics. it was because i wasn't paying attention to the way i yarned. Turns out i was always yarning over and never under, i watched a lot of videos to learn crochet and i've never saw someone pointing this detail out. So thank you a lot :) . (PS i love your baby octopus pattern it's so easy and cute everyone around me got one)

Hello ! I am 53, lefthanded and tried crochet for the first time when i was 17, but it ended in tears because i had no youtube to watch videos for crochet for lefthanders 😄 i started crochet 3 weeks ago with cheap yarn, just practicing chains and magic rings and to get a rhythm for chrocheing..3 days ago i made 2 octopusses, and a couple of coasters 👍 i now am working on baskets.. you should not see this as a task, it is a hobby, it is good for yourself, helps calm down, and you are proud when you produce something with your hands. Beginners, don t give up, be patient, and you will see the result! Mrs Jade thank you for sharing this wonderful patterns! 🙏❤️

I have watched SO many “beginner friendly” videos that i was so confused by, this is the first that i could actually follow. Thanks so much

I have been learning, somewhat unsuccessfully, to crochet for 6 years. Your magic ring is the first one I've seen that actually makes sense!

I just subbed. I learned to crochet nearly 50 years ago and never tried to make tiny critters. You made it so simple and gave me the incentive to try sonething new. ❤ Thank you so much!

My daughter was just stung by jellyfish the day before yesterday (wee Scottish ones, don’t worry she’s totally fine), so today I just had to make this as a wee reminder for her. She will love it 😂
  • @Ahuman7071
Anyone else having to restart several times because they messed up? 😅😅😅😅
  • So much fun for a beginner! I think I did my tentacles with the yarn under instead of over (for three of the first four tentacles) and it produced the most adorable curl to them! I love your idea of using two different colours!!
  • @TubbyChu
This is genuinely the most well explained/demonstrated video I have come across. It makes so much more sense when you show exactly where each stitch goes (something that confused me to no end with other tutorials I tried). Thank you for giving me more confidence in my ability to crochet something other than a tangle of yarn 🤣
  • this is an AMAZING tutorial for beginners. if you slow it down to the slowest speed it 100% makes this the easiest tutorial possible. i didn't use the correct yarn so mine ended up looking really weird? i'm assuming it was my yarn. i was using cotton yarn. i'm going to buy some of the fuzzy yarn tomorrow and hope that it works!!! mine kept shrinking and shrinking, but all the stitches were correct, and mine was SUPER tight and hard to slip the hook into. highly recommend using a lighter yarn as well, it's hard to see your stitches if using a dark yarn. her yarn is the PERFECT color for beginners. don't go too light either! i used a pastel BAREEEELY visible yellow and i STRUGGLEDDDDD. !! but overall i did okay for a beginner. and YESSS the magic circle is hard as hell but its soooo easy once you get it down! the hard part for me is actually crocheting into it. 😬😬😬

I passed this video several times because I didn’t think I’d be able to make it, today I finally tried and it was so easy! Thanks for the great , cute and easy video 🎉
