#9: My course was stolen and illegally resold
Published 2024-05-26
Now this is most definitely not my typical vibe on the She Got Lucky Podcast but a topic, I wish I'd known about when starting to create courses.
You’ll hear:
•
The "red flags" to look out for in your students
•
The importance of having a reliable lawyer and solid terms and conditions - but - also the expenses behind this.
•
Steps to protect yourself and monitor. The importance of nurturing a supportive and engaged community that looks out for each other
Have you experienced something similar? I'd love to hear your own story.

I'm sorry to hear about your course stolen. While I do understand having a good lawyer & solid terms & conditions is important, have you learned any methods to prevent bad people from copying your course (audio & visual), downloading, using encryption tools - stopping the cheat in the first place?
