Not sure what the strat here is that there are only two pokemon in the game with the ability Mega Launcher, and ability which powers up Pulse moves(including heal pulse funnily enough) Those being Mega Blastoise, and Clawitzer. I don't know if he was using Pulse moves, though. The ability honestly isn't bad imo as it boosts power by 1.5 this means both Clawitzer and Mega Blastoise get Water Pulse- 90 Base Power +STAB with 100% accuracy and 20% to confuse. Giving it equal power to Surf and 10 more power than Scald though the burn is a 30% chance and generally a more useful status condition so Scald is probably better. Dark Pulse- 120 Base Power with 20% chance to flinch and generally a good coverage move Dragon Pulse- 127~ Base Power Dragon move Terrain Pulse- 75 Base Power that depending on which train you pair it with can be Electric, Grass, Fairy, Or Psychic. Clawitzer also gets Heal Pulse which allows it to heal 3/4th of its allies hp in double battles.
