My first supervisor in the military was a helicopter crew chief and gunner in Vietnam. He knew I was a big history buff, and he invited me to travel to Vietnam in 1999 and 2001, with a bunch of Vietnam Veterans, and their spouses and families. We traveled from Hanoi and Ha Long Bay to Hue, Da Nang, Nha Trang, Khe Sanh, Camp Eagle, Cu Chi tunnels, Saigon, and a bunch of battle sites. It was an incredible experience, touring the cities, camps, and battle sites, and hearing the Veterans stories first hand. I have several videos from the trip I will post. Sorry about the video and audio quality at times. I bought a new 8mm video camera for the trip, and was still learning how to operate it there, and the humidity was pretty hard on it. It didn't help that we all drank a lot of Tiger beer and rice whiskey every day either. LOL
