30 Minute Gospel Music Hymn Sing

This is real praise music, not the shallow, mindless, loud repetitive songs of today.

You don't need the rock concert atmosphere.  You don't need the so-called praise teams.  This kind of singing is all you need.

People remember these hymns from childhood and hunger for fellowship and worship thru these songs. Contemporary type churches need to wake up and go back to how it was.

I am a 75-year-old retired worship pastor. The question I always ask is, Why does it have to be either/or? There is God-glorifying appropriateness in many diverse styles of worship music. At our Baptist church, we sing hymns and gospel songs both old and new, from Isaac Watts to Phil Wickham. We are critical and discerning in the songs we choose, to ensure that they contain gospel-centered, theologically rich lyrics supported by melodies that are singable by our congregation. God be praised for the gift of music in its varied forms

This is February 21,2023 you have pleasantly surprised me. I have just come across this, singing. I love you all.

Most churches refuse to sing these life-changing hymns, much to their detriment and loss of souls. But I am thankful to access these songs through You Tube. Thank you and please keep posting these events. Pure worship.

I can listen to these old gospel songs all day

I have no words to say how much I enjoyed this segment. I hope many churches these days will return to this type of worship. God bless. Many churches shy away from singing these old powerful songs, I do not know why. Shame on the ministers. I am from Canada.

I was brought up on this! I had the best mother ever but an alcoholic father. There were six of us but we were all Christian people! My father got saved before he passed and all 6 of us were saved! Thanks for your service to Christ!!!

It's really difficult to understand why people who watch this wouldn't enjoy it, and be blessed. This is the greatest music on this side of Heaven!

These are the hymns I grew up with. They do what they're meant to. They give God the glory. It's sad to see so called worship leaders making exhibitionists of themselves and drawing the attention to themselves when it's supposed to be all about Him!!!

My mom is 86, lives in a nursing home and has dementia. All she can remember is the scripture that she memorized as a child and HYMNS. She can still harmonize too. I can't wait to play this for her.
