MY HOME FLOODED UNEXPECTEDLY.. Damage + Mold ? NOT CLICKBAIT WATER EVERYWHERE. THIS IS SAD

I wish this one was Clickbait. This caused me a lot of time and money. Has anyone experienced something like this before? How did you solve it?

You need to talk to someone at the utility companies. When the tenants move out, the utilities automatically stay on. They go back in YOUR name. The tenants need to move out on the date specified or they'll be using YOUR utilities at YOUR EXPENSE!!! Good luck and thanks for sharing!!!😊

Why would tenants shut off more than a light switch to each room? You need a key lockbox over the power switch to the sump pump to prevent access to it, and any other important areas tenants should not touch.

I'm so sorry you had to go through this. It seems like tenants don't respect other people properties.

So sorry to hear about the water damage. Your contractor provided you the correct advice on handling water damage I have had this issue before with basement flooding my was due to my water heater at a much wider scale and it is stressful. Everything will fall into place. God bless🙏

You may want to have a basement waterproofing specialist look at your sump pump to make sure it is properly installed and pitched properly for drainage.
