Just wanna say that this is a great introduction to render targets. The usefulness of this technique is enormous. For example, if you have a water body and you don't want the water to clip into your boat then you can create a render target that will update a mask of your boats position, then using a blur for the mask output, then input into world displacement of the oceans material you can cause the water to always be physically affected by your boat through the mask. It's a little more complicated than that since you also need to line up the location of the world displacement to your boat specifically which is a whole other technique.

Great tutorial, thank you! Would you be able to make a small quick tutorial on how someone would spray a dirty surface clean? That would be amazing

fyi if you have an nvidia gpu I'd recommend using the nvidia overlay to screen record as the quality is much better, similar file size and causes much less lag and interruptions compared to OBS in my experience (OBS can either give a smooth recording or cause serious lag in my program for some reason). I use the nvidia overlay all the time now when sending showcases to clients because it's so much quicker

Please can you show us how to save and load the paintings? Thanks
  • Why is it that when I draw on the left and right sides of the canvas, I can draw smoothly, but if I want to draw on the top and bottom of the canvas, I need to raise the camera to a 180-degree angle to draw?:eyes-purple-crying:

Is there a way to change the paint color at run time? I've made it work but it also changes the color of what has already been painted.

Can you say what version of ue5 are you using in this video? My FirstPersonCharacter blueprints are totally different and i already stopped watching this video cause it's useless for me on 5.3.2 version.

can I ask your help to make a step by step tut for how i create Material Parameter For a character in order to change the face and body material in Sequencer, such as transforming the human face into a monster, for example, or a werewolf, as well as his hair, and changing the character’s morphology, such as the appearance of fangs, or changing the shape of the ear and face I have asked people a lot, and although they are good at it, they are arrogant and do not even care about responding I wrote a request for help because I am originally a beginner and I do not know anything about materials So I needed a step by step tutorial to apply to a character with a material parameter creation. This has never been seen on YouTube Can you do this educational lesson, as explained in the previous comment, by creating a material parametal from scratch for the character, as well as for the character’s morphs, and working with them in the sequencer to change the shape and textures of the character Like turning into a werewolf, for example, so you get what I mean I hope you will consider my request if you can Thank you
