a first encounter to the sound. multi layered vocals driven by haunting reverb and delay. which harmonize with the notably powerful guitar sound. beautiful, melodic but heavy. in an echo chamber of feedback loop that for some reason retain their melodic nature. a sound wall consisting of thick guitar layers. riffs that remain on repeat, echoing in my mind forever. this predates loveless and was always what defined the genre for me and in my opinion, their purest work.
