There have been many games that Nintendo simply couldn't release for many numerous reasons. From developers leaving the project, to having the game on a failed console like the Phillips CDI. So were going over a bunch of cancelled games that Nintendo rejected. From Super Mario bros strikers games to a cancelled Legend of Zelda game where you would play as Sheik the whole time and even a Kirby game where he is a kid.

6:24 - the Super Mario 128 tech demo was only ever meant to be just that, a tech demo to show off what the GameCube could do, it was never intended to be a full commercial release. They did use the same mechanics in Pikmin, but it is not a game they "couldn't release", it was a "tech demo" that they "did release"

Not gonna lie, a game dedicated to Boo would actually be a good idea, and seeing the concept art of what it would look like is something that I'm very much interested in playing.
  • @DARKAURA999.
that post apocalyptic zelda game sounds so cool
  • Dinosaur Planet actually eventually saw the light of day as a Rom was released to the Public giving several people access to play it
  • Great vid, you should talk about all the canceled or fake zelda games that fooled people And you should do more Metroid content, have you played prime remastered?

What's funny to me is that they scrapped Mario Spikers, a wrestling game, for being "too violent" (which, nonsense, Mario Strikers begs to differ)... and then tell Next Level Games to develop Punch Out, a boxing game. To quote a certain video from this very same channel: "So wrestling's a no go but boxing is totally fine? Sure, whatever. This is one wholesome, unrealistic, family-friendly, non-violent game, right?"

Interestingy In time development of super smash bros melee Lucas was going to replace ness as the mother series rep Unfortunately earthbound 64/Mother 3 was scrapped because failure of Nintendo 64 disk drive But then work on Game boy advance and Ness still in melee

Diddy Kong Racing was great. I still love flying planes in GTA5 to this day.

No way, the guys who made Doom also made a port of Mario 3 for the DOS? That’s crazy!

Gotta say: With all these GBA-GC-Connectivity Games (whether released or not) Big N was really desperate to make the more popular "little brother" GBA give the cube a boost... I mean they sold a GameCube with Mario Kart Double Dash!! & 4 Zelda Games + a Demo of the upcoming one. They felt cornered. 9:05 I don't know anything spectacular about Meowth's Party but seeing the Eevee Model here makes it clear that they reused it for Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness. NOT in Pokémon Colosseum albeit that released years prior... Genius Sonority is a weird company.

10:32 That’s probably the biggest time gap between beta and game I’ve ever seen (Kirby bowl was like in the 2000s while dream buffee released in 2022-ish)
