puppy with distemper an observation

I rescued this puppy from mobile co. animal shelter Feb 10, 2012. She is 5 mos old. she had pneumonia and then they spayed get before they would let me take her. she has been under vet care and treated for the pneumonia which she recovered from however maybe had the disease then and it was the onset. I thought she was going to die then, and she made it through.

Last week she was twitching and jerking pretty violently in her sleep which I guess may have been seisures? it has stopped. There is no twitching as she sits still. But she is a bit unsteady and wobbly at times. Has healthey appetite, no vomiting, poo is normal, one pad of her front foot is a tiny bit cracked.

she is on Chloramphenicol to be followed by Prednisone. she's such a fighter. I believe with how she looks and surviving the pneumonia that she's going to make it through.
