    I was born in 1989, I miss the 90's so much. 💯
  • @TheBumshack
Dude, same here. Love being an 89 baby. We were the last of a generation.. playing outside, sleepovers, building forts... we were the last... it was the best. Miss it

So happy I was born in 88. I loved every aspect of the 90s. There aren't even any youth baseball teams in my hometown anymore. Which is insane to me

I was born in 1986, and it's been awesome, right now what comes to mind is my friday night trips to the video store to rent a movie or a Nintendo 64 cartridge, it was about learning to enjoy what was available at the time, about becoming exited because we could get hold of a song, a movie, a game, a book. Oh God, nostalgia hits hard again.

It's really easy to look back at the 90/00s and just be nostalgic. The last chance to be a kid

I was born in 84 so I was able to experience the entirety of the 90s. From animorphs to pokemon. From beast wars to the new adventures of Jonny quest and the wwf attitude era. The 90s was the best and there will never be an era like it ever again.

Saw the last month of 89, best childhood ever. Imagine having to organise to meet your friends at a certain place at a certain time and just hope they actually turn up.

I was born 1990 and in my opinion the 90's was the last great decade, from the movies, tv shows, music, video games etc... I can't believe I am now 30 and that was 3 decades ago; it makes me feel old, but the true nostalgia I have, or get now for the 90's is, so surreal sometimes! The kids today will never know how it really was and what it was like! The best times! I had a blast growing up in the 90's as a kid!
  • I'm born in 1999, literally the edge of the millennium. I can happily say that it was the best year to be born in. I had both experiences of 90s kids and the Gen Zs childhood too. I lean more towards the 90s though. The shows I watched, my lifestyle, even down to the games i grew up with. My day would have the perfect split between playing outdoors with all the neighbourhood kids(there were a lot of them), and staying indoors with my box tv and gameboy in hand. I asked a lot of my friends who are 4-5 even 7 years younger than me about their childhood. They were surprised that there were neighbourhood kids. They said their neighbourhood are always empty, with only small toddlers and their parents playing. Kinda sad IMO. It was so cool when I would bring ny gameboy and link cables to meet my friends. Play tgt a bit, and continued playing physically after. And the games we created are limitless, full of creativity. It was great being born in the 90s. We just experience the best of both world. World of creativity, and the growing era of Technology.

Hanging out in the video/gaming arcade with friends. Those were the days!

I was born in 92. Love being a kid in the 90s but the early and mid 00s were amazing too!

I still take my kids to the library. My daughter and I still have a library card! We use it OFTEN!!!!! 😁😁

My father spent a whole weekend reading a Windows 95 tech manual front to back. Immediately he showed my sister and I how to use the internet and how to use search engines. My first memory was my mother taking me and my sister to the library to get our cards. The best day of the week was always Fox Kids on Saturday mornings, Goosebumps, Mystic Knights of Tir'Nanog, Big Bad Beetleborgs, Beetleborgs Metallix subsequently. When the SyFy was still called SciFi, and still used the epic brooding image of a Stormtrooper for its transitional screen. Every once in awhile my dad would let me watch Tales From the Crypt with him if I behaved myself and could stay up long enough to watch. It was a time like no other. I got to appreciate the old, as I watched the new coming down the pipe, pure Epicness.

How does this not have more views? I was born in 86, so technically I was a 90s kid bc I was only 4 when the decade started. The 90s were amazing. We were the last generation of kids to actually socialize outside the house. We would ride our bikes around the neighborhood without having to worry (too much) about being kidnapped. After the internet came, it changed everything. Kids these days don't realize how easy, and how bad, they have it. There's a reason depression in teens is at an all time high.

I was born in 1985 in South London , UK and the 1990s were the ultimate best decade and i feel so lucky and proud that i was apart of that world. I feel so blessed to have experience the whole of the 90s and what it was all about. Life was so good and so simple and everyone had a healthier attitude and mentality towards others, life was not taken too seriously and nobody was offended by anything. We had the best movies, the best TV, the best video games, the best music. The best of everything. You appreciated things a lot more in the 90s and we knew how to have fun. We properly had the best life experience than the generation have today. I know the 90s ended in 1999 however i believe the 1990s officially ended in 2001. After 9/11 people's personalities and views on the world started to change and not for the better. Kids today are so spoilt, clueless and have everything easy accessible with internet, iphones, ipads, Apps, social media and tiktok.

Growing up in the 90s was a lot of fun. Unfortunately it was very violent. I wouldn't change it though, it's made me the man I am today.

Libraries are fascinating to me since I was little. I’ve been volunteering at libraries & currently work at my University’s library. I like how you mentioned about libraries & basically the excitement of getting books. I actually plan to get PhD in library science. Having a library card is definitely a must have!
