Welcome to the Third Episode of Project Bourbon. An Alternate History featuring the Napoleonic wars.

Our Point of Divergence lies in the War of Spanish Succession, where the French gain a total victory, allowing for the monarchies of France and Spain to unite, creating the Bourbon Empire.

Due to their unity, when the French Revolution inevitably begins, the Spanish also fall to revolution, expelling the monarchy to their massive colonial empire.

Following the French Canadians becoming independent, they sought to secure their sovereignty and culture by recognizing the Republic of France as their overlord. However, after Napoleon crowns himself emperor, he sells Canada to the United States of America.

This brazen action by Napoleon has triggered yet another conflict in America between the USA and the Bourbon exiles. Would the Bourbons manage to survive another conflict with the United States? Or will the ambition of Manifest Destiny finally be quelled?

Will Canada become a new power in America? How will their relations be with their southern neighbors of the United States?

All these questions and more will be answered in Episode 3 of Project Bourbon!

In 1803 we took a little trip. Along with Colonel Jackson down the might Mississip. We took a little bacon and we took a little beans. And we caught the bloody bourbons in a town in New Orleans. We fired our guns and the bourbon kept a coming. There wasn’t Nigh as many as there was a while ago. We fired one more and they begin to running. on down the Mississippi to the Gulf of Mexico. We looked down the river, and we see’d the bourbons come and there musta been a hundred of em beating on the drum. They stepped so high and made their bugles ring we stood beside our cotton bales and didn’t say a thing. We fired our guns and the bourbons kept a coming. There wasn’t Nigh as many as there was a while ago. We fired one more and they begin to running. on down the Mississippi to the Gulf of Mexico. Old Hickory said we could take em by surprise we didn’t fire our muskets till we look em in the eyes. We held our fire till we seen their faces swell. Then we opened up our squirrel guns and really gave em well… We fired our guns and the bourbon kept a coming. There wasn’t Nigh as many as there was a while ago. We fired one more and they begin to running. on down the Mississippi to the Gulf of Mexico. Well they ran through the briars and they ran through the brambles. And they ran through the bushes where a rabbit couldn’t go. they ran so fast that the hounds couldn’t catch em. on down the Mississippi to the Gulf of Mexico. We fired our canon till the barrel melted down. So we grabbed an alligator and we found another round. We filled his head with cannonballs and powdered his behind. and when we touch the powder off, the gator, lost his mind We fired our guns and the bourbon kept a coming. There wasn’t Nigh as many as there was a while ago. We fired one more and they begin to running. on down the Mississippi to the Gulf of Mexico. • @user-gn3ko7th4s
Good effort put on the video, albeit the timeline world building its VERY bad, Maps are great too. Good luck whit the series ig
  • @dino-bk7vh
Honestly Im rooting for America to win here as I really think they can fully take out the bourbons at least in North America
  • @board-qu9iu
I personally think that the monarchist could last longer imo. Especially in Peru which just felt was weird that they rebelled given OTL how they were a loyal stronghold. Your also kind of neglecting the naval supremacy they have over the colonials
  • @KaesoARhombil
That Brazilian empire tho. Oh and the monarchists get owned twice too, I guess
  • @Maxtrius145
France definitely wouldn’t sell Canada and America wouldn’t want it but still good
  • Wouldn't make more sense to call "new spain" as Colombia or Mexico? Especialy because New Spain was Mexico's colonial name.
