What’s amazing about Street Fighter 4 3DS is that if you disable the 3D in the game’s settings, it will boost the frame rate to 60FPS instead of the 30FPS that it runs out of the box. That makes the game even MORE impressive of a launch title.
  • The 3ds started off super weak but as soon as 2013-2014 hit, it became amazing, We got Pokemon, we got Smash, we got Fire Emblem, and much more. 3DS became the backbone of Nintendo while the Wii U was bombing. I loved this little device and I still play it to this day.
  • It’s weird to finally see the 3ds era come to an official end. I’m only 20 but growing up on the 3ds and Ds family of consoles makes me feel old.

The 3ds lives on forever. One of my favorite handhelds.
  • Street Fighter was so god damn funny on the 3DS, being able to spam Guile’s projectiles with the touch screen. Fantastic port.

I got the 3DS on day 1, and I almost sold it back then. The only reason I kept it was that I'd skipped the DS generation and could play some of those games. But that first year was ROUGH.

Personally, I loved the flying mini game from Wii Sports Resort. Pilotwings Resort was actually one of the games I was most excited to get. And I didn’t get it until 2013
  • 3ds was my first “I know about and follow nintendo news” thing when I was 12 and I got it at launch. I was so excited but I kind of wish I waited in fact I don’t even remember what I played but I love the system it’s phenomenal

It's also really interesting that the 3ds was the only Nintendo system to not launch with a Mario or Zelda. I mean the original Luigi's Mansion wasn't technically a Mario game, but it was still in the same universe.
  • Ghost Recon on 3DS is actually pretty good. Its a launch game so it has shortcomings but it offered some strategy in the early days of 3DS. And ended up unique on the console

Christmas of 2011 was a such a magical time for me. I got my aqua teal 3ds with Super Mario 3d land 😁

I bought Bust-a-Move Universe a year or two ago and it’s actually pretty fun. It’s malnourished as all hell, but fun

i remember playing asphalt 3d as a little kid, it was the first game i 100% completed, i thought it had the most realistic graphics ever

Fun Fact about Ghost Recon: Shadow War; it was produced by Julian Gollop, one of the main people behind the original X-COM. I've been intending to pick it up sometime, as it seems to be a surprisingly good strategy game for the system.

I was just marathoning a bunch of Scott Stash videos and this pops up. Though I missed an earlier one but nope. Fresh Scott off the stash
  • Rayman 3D (and many other ubi titles) had awfully loud audio. If you used the 3DS' own speakers, you had to reduce the ingame audio settings down to 10-15% or it sounded like it was about to blow out the speakers.

Yay Scott's back. Missed your videos buddy! Good to have you back!
