The snap emote was not the only cosmetic item to be switched from rarities. When the Marshmellow skin dropped in season 7, it was dropped as an epic rarity then was later changed to an icon rarity after the ninja skin was released in chapter 2

5:51 In the older creative that was used at the time, so many of us collected as much material as possible to easily get many different ranked weapons and health related items. I used to try and get hundreds of materials, mainly stone and wood, to acquire as many health items as I could similarly to many other players as well just so we could stay in the storm for most of the round. However the vending machines became less used after the currency option switch to gold.

Fun fact the star wand didn’t do damage for no reason it was accidentally using save the world environment damage instead of battle royale.

Also something that wasn't on the list and I'm still not completely sure of even though finding it in an actual live game back in Chapter 1. I remember there used to be a supposedly hidden storyline for the Fortnite map which had audio of someone talking about how "The world you see through the Virtual Reality is great for training..." and that "the animations of the players' de-spawning after being eliminated could be better..." Does anyone else remember this odd storyline thing? I don't know of any videos of this audio or something about this.

I remember so many of these things but every time I see #70 I get a bit ticked and nostalgic. I was in the lobby that happened in. The whole lobby built a massive ramp and a huge platform to watch the rocket. There were a few of us lower on the platform and we saw this one kid breaking the ramp. Several of us went to fix it as he kept trying. A couple people even shot at him to get him to stop. As the event started we all thought he had stopped. Nope he just moved further down and kept one connection alive for a little while and as the rocket launched he broke the last connection ruining the event for 80% of the lobby.

I didn’t know I was an OG till I watched this video. over time I’ve forgotten these places and how the game used to be thank you for the reminder of the good old days

I really hope we get Ray again in battle royale. Shes nice to hear in save the world mode, and to have her appear would be awesome.

8:42 It wasn't just the grenade that was pretty much a jpg. I also found it weird that the item slots were either in the centre or top of the screen compared to the right side that we're mostly used to now.

23:14 I used to see many of the designs of the block in magazines since I stopped playing Fortnite after Chapter 1 season 8, only to return in Chapter 2 season 5 on another account because of a gaming competition. Not all the block designs were battle related with some being literal mansions or other house-like buildings.
