James Hillier shows us the difference between his Superbike vs Superstock IOMTT Bikes

Published 2023-06-23
Over the last few months, I have made some videos giving you a closer look at the Superstock bike, so whilst we had some time at ‪@TTRacesOfficial‬ we filmed a closer comparison as promised.

Sit back, grab a beer and let me show you the OMG Racing Superbike and Superstock bikes. I explain some of the details we have to consider when we take on the TT Mountain Course.

Please add any questions to the comments below and I will do my best to answer them.

Brilliant insight - I think you've given the best description of the two class of bikes I've seen
  • @LD-bv1pm
Clearly doesn't just ride bikes fast, knows about them too. Very eloquent and informative.
  • What a fascinating incite. These guys never stop during race and practice time, hats off to all of you. James is a class act.

One of your best videos yet James: excellent detail and insight, with no pause or break the whole way through. Like the mind of an engineer, translated to standard English for us normal folk!! Top job man, fair play!!

Excellent explanation of the two bikes and what makes them different. Met James at this year's TT - he was selling his hot sauce after the last race - and he seemed a lovely guy - happily posed for a photo and signed my lid. He had a great TT and posted some good times. And then went home safely to his wife and children.
  • Great video! Iove the bike content especially. I'm in the process of modifying my R1M ('16) for canyon/track riding so I love hearing your thoughts and the details of what you're running. Keep up the great work and we'll see you next time.

Fascinating deep description of it all…suspension appreciate it. I’m not a road racer on bikes so it helps me understand… I have go kart and dirt bike experience….thanks love the videos. I’d so love to ride one to the limit but almost 58 now so kinda late in life for it all 😂
