Kirby & Yellow Pikmin Oddity in Smash

If Kirby eats any Pikmin, he just automatically swallows them, EXCEPT for Yellow Pikmin, who acts as a heavy projectile, for some reason. It only works if the Yellow Pikmin is thrown with side B, side smash will make Kirby swallow Yellow Pikmin automatically.
